Leverage the vast opportunities available through the LPL Financial training department to help you develop new business solutions, maximize office efficiency and generate optimal staff performance.

Through the LPL Financial Learning Center, advisors and their staff have access to over 50 eLearning modules, as well as webcasts and regional training events. The Learning Center also offers customized learning plans and detailed reports enabling users to view and track a variety of training programs designed to fit their unique needs.

Web-based opportunities:

  • eLearning - LPL Financial eLearning online tutorials offer training at your convenience, at your own pace, from any computer with Internet access. With topics ranging from opening new accounts to product training, these self-paced modules accommodate advisors and their staff with varying industry experience.
  • LPL Financial Introductory Workshop - LPL Financial Introductory Workshop provides new advisors and staff the perfect opportunity to learn all there is to know about BranchNet and the Resource Center. This two part workshop is broken down into one hour segments over a period of eight days. The workshop explores the features of BranchNet software and guides participants in using LPL Financial technology to simplify office operations. This series of one hour sessions is recorded and available for replay on the LPL Financial Learning Center.
  • Advanced Skills Workshop - For a more advanced level of training, LPL Financial offer a monthly Advanced Skills Workshop. With topics such as Preparing for Client Meetings, Easy Marketing Solutions and Advanced Portfolio Manager Techniques, no matter your level of expertise you will continually have the tools available to grow your practice.
  • 30-Minute Tips and Tricks - LPL Financial 30-minute web-based conference calls keep advisors and their staff informed of new firm initiatives as well as BranchNet enhancements. Each session takes an in-depth look at one specific feature and addresses common issues and frequently asked questions. Sessions are recorded and available for replay on the LPL Financial Learning Center.
  • Professional Development Series - The LPL Financial Training Department offers a Professional Development Series with topics such as time management, leadership development, team-building, delegation and communication. The primary objective of these courses is to help you create a more efficient working environment so that you can spend more time with your clients and less time on day-to-day office issues.

  • BranchNet 101 - LPL Financial Training offers BranchNet 101, a powerful, hands-on training opportunity exploring the core areas of BranchNet specific to new advisors and new office staff. Master the basics of BranchNet in an intimate classroom setting with this one-day session that will prepare you for success at LPL Financial.
  • Business Consulting Events - LPL Financial Business Consulting Events are regional, interactive training events focused on a specific investment platform, strategy, tactic or tool. These events - ranging from trust symposiums to advisory events - are committed to helping advisors grow their practice.
