One of the industry’s most comprehensive investment platforms
Investors have access to more than 5,300 no-load/load-waived mutual funds from over 325 well-known mutual fund families. Mutual funds are traded on a discretionary basis in SAM/SAM II, meaning you do not need client approval to buy and sell mutual funds and are not required to deliver prospectuses. Other non-registered pooled investments are available on a discretionary basis.

SAM and SAM II provide access to:

  • No-load/load-waived mutual funds*
  • Stocks
  • Bonds
  • Unit investment trusts (UITs)
  • Conservative options
  • Funds of hedge funds
  • Managed futures
  • No-load variable annuity

Transfer existing client assets for consolidated performance reporting
Platform assets, as well as certain investments clients may have previously purchased, are consolidated onto a quarterly performance report, making it easy for you and your clients to monitor customized portfolios.

To take advantage of consolidated performance reporting, previously purchased no-load and certain load mutual funds, stocks, bonds and UITs may be transferred into the account. These assets may be folded into the account’s overall asset allocation strategy and managed according to the client’s objective.

*Mutual Funds are sold by prospectus. Investors should consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of the variable annuity contract and sub-account carefully before investing. The prospectus contains this and other information about the variable annuity contract and sub-accounts. They can obtain contract and sub-account prospectuses from their LPL Financial advisor. They should read prospectuses carefully before investing.
